God morning fight club. It’s another great day to fight.
Over the last few days I have been feeling the fatigue from the weight of the decisions that had to be made to get me to this point. With only a few days left before medical treatment begins, I want to process and pray through the reality of how draining this process has been. I am not afraid or anxious, but my mind is tired.
With that being said this morning’s pray is for God’s peace.
Pray this with me.
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
John 14:27 NLT
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
1 Peter 5:7 NLT
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
Isaiah 26:3 NLT
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”
Colossians 3:15 NLT
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16 NLT
God thank you for this breath that I have just taken. Help me to better appreciate the wonderful gift of life that you have given me and in turn help me to make choices with my life that are a gift to you. Thank you for another day. Thank you for another opportunity to spend my life in service to you and others.
God I thank you for your loving kindness which is better than life itself. Thank you for new mercies every morning. Thank you for your presence and your spirit and that there is no where that I can go that your spirit will not be present.
As I rise today for another day of battle with cancer God I pray you grant the benefit of presence. Go with me today in each step that I take and with each decision that is made. Go before me as you prepare my body for the beginning of treatment next week. Prepare my doctors for the task of healing my body. Go with them and go before them.
God today I want to thank you for the gift of peace. Real peace. Peace that is both unexplainable and undeniable. Thank you for the peace that can ease troubled and fatigued minds and hearts
God I pray for your people today that they experience your peace. Thank you for those who are standing with me in this battle. Give them your peace.
Jesus you are called the “prince of peace” and I pray today that your peace reign in our hearts and souls. God there are those who find themselves in extremely challenging circumstances this season. Give them peace. For those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, grant them peace. For those who are financially challenged, grant your peace. For those who are facing illness, grant them peace. For those whose souls are being tormented with guilt and shame from their past, give them confidence that in Christ there is no longer condemnation.
Grant them the power to forgive others and to forgive themselves and grant them peace. For those who are anxious about the days ahead and live in constant fear of the future, grant them peace by assuring them that you have already gone before them and made the crooked places straight.
Let us live under the umbrella of grace, mercy, blessings, and supernatural peace that is provided to us by the shed blood of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us on the cross.
God you declared in your word that you would keep those who trust you in perfect peace and we stand in agreement with your word and although we ourselves are not perfect we commit today to trust you perfectly and we receive in exchange for our perfect trust your perfect peace.
Wash our minds with your word today that reminds us of the blessings and benefits of living in peace of mind, heart, and spirit. God I pray today that any and all physical illness and affects of living without your peace be reversed and repaired in Jesus name. High blood pressure, depression, hair loss, physical aches and pains, sleeplessness and restlessness and the like, are all subject to the reign and rule of the peace of God actively guarding our lives in Jesus name.
God we trust you. We love you. We are depending on you. We believe that our victory over our trials will be experienced because of your power and your spirit and your peace. God grant supernatural peace to your people today and every day to come at all times and in every situation.
In Jesus name.
